Hollywood Poker (hollywoodpoker.com) has improved its chip stack once more with the successful running of The World Poker Tour Hollywood Poker Celebrity Shootout I.

The two who played their cards right were overall winner Aron Marquitz of Durham, North Carolina, and last celebrity standing Kirk Acevedo ("Law & Order: Trial by Jury," "Oz," "Band of Brothers").

Together, they will join the winners from Celebrity Shootout II, the second online tournament from Hollywood Poker, for the World Poker Tour Legends of Poker event in Bell Gardens, California where they will compete for the grand prize and a chance to call themselves legends.

Kelli Williams ("The Practice") held her own with the boys as the last lady celebrity standing, earning a seat to the ladies event at the Bicycle Casino where she will have the opportunity to win a spot to the World Poker Tour Ladies Night tournament.

Celebrity Shootout II, which is sure to raise the celebrity turnout, is a $20+2 like its predecessor. Satellite tournaments are still available for Hollywood Poker members to join the festivities on August 14, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. EDT at a fraction of the price.

Another $10,000-minimum prize pool will be available for this tournament, as well as the complimentary buy-ins for The Legends of Poker Event at the Bicycle Casino, making it at least $25,000 up for grabs.

Celebrities who participated in Celebrity Shootout I, in the order of how they placed, included Kirk Acevedo, Joshua Malina ("The West Wing"), Nicholas Gonzalez ("Anacondas 2"), Jon Landau ("Titanic"), Vince Van Patten ("World Poker Tour"), Michael Woods, Michael Ian Black ("Stella"), Jon Favreau ("Swingers"), Jonathan Baker ("The Amazing Race"), Seth Meyers ("Saturday Night Live"), Anthony Denison ("The Closer"), Kelli Williams, Ken Howard ("Crossing Jordan"), Jimmy Van Patten, Scott Baio ("Charles in Charge"), James Woods ("Pretty Persuasion") and Erik Palladino ("Over There").
